Maps of Swabia
Maps of Swabia and parts of the region during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries are included in the atlases by Stridbeck, Bodenehr, Scherer, Seutter and Homann. The Charte von Schwaben by Johann Gottlieb von Bohnenberger and Ignaz Ambros von Amman from the years 1798-1828 needs to be mentioned. It was based on new astronomically and geodetically determined main survey points and is characterised by an excellent representation of the terrain. This set of maps extends beyond the borders of Swabia. In addition, important maps of Swabia can be found in the atlases of Reilly and Riedl.
