Bayerische Landesbauernkammer 1920-1933

The Bayerische Landesbauernkammer (Bavarian Chamber of Agriculture) existed from 1920 to 1933. It was a self-governing Bavarian agriculture body. All the agricultural policy issues during the Weimar Republic years were reflected in its debates. Due to the Landesbauernkammer's self-image as a "farmer's parliament", its stenographic reports copy the external appearance of the Bavarian State Parliament's stenographic reports on negotiations. The stenographic reports are privately owned and are the only known complete copy. The Landesbauernkammer's activity reports are an important supplement to the stenographic reports.
