Family trees of the musician families Hetsch, Klotz and Raiger

Similar to the widespread family of the famous Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) in central Germany, there were also several families in the Upper Swabian imperial towns of Dinkelsbühl and Nördlingen whose members dominated the music scene in the region for many generations. Some family members were exclusively musicians, others took up another profession as well, while others devoted themselves to a completely different job. The family trees shown here are just excerpts and do not claim to be complete; rather, they concentrate on the musicians in the families and also only represent the state of research at a certain point in time (after the coronavirus pandemic severely hindered further research).
