The historical film footage made by the Bavaria production company was shot in 1910 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Oktoberfest. On the film reel from the holdings of the Munich City Archives, individual excerpts of the anniversary celebrations are partly arranged randomly. The order of the scenes shown does not correspond to the chronological order of the events that took place during the 14-day celebration. There are some scenes included on the film reel that were not shot on the Theresienwiese and probably have no connection to the Oktoberfest 1910.
